Our Big 6 year old. We still can't believe how big Owen is getting! For his birthday he chose a trip to the store to buy whatever present he wanted and going out for doughnuts and ice cream instead of a party this year. Two of his buddies came over to play for a couple of hours with his new legos. A perfect day in 6 year old Owen's eyes. :)
Sad to say I am getting a little older each year too. Somehow it's not as exciting as being six, But having a reason to celebrate is always a hit around here. Brad and I got to have a sushi date and spend the evening out without the kiddoes. That was amazing of course. And later in the week, friends from our ward took me out for dinner at BJ's and then later to the latest Twilight movie. Girl's nights out are such a great pick me up! So it was a perfect birthday for me too.
