We had so much fun camping on memorial weekend. The weekend before we went, we were trying to find a camp-spot to reserve and quickly realized we waited way too long to get the good ones on memorial weekend. I checked a ton and they were all reserved, but we got lucky and found a little one close to Tahoe that ended up being great!
We went with some friends (the Bowers) and had a great time, cooking yummy camp food, chatting till midnight, biking, kids playing etc. Camping is always a hit for everyone.
We are hoping to get a few more camp trips in before the summer is over. It always seems to go way too fast! There was a great family bike trail we took over to the dam and the kids loved watching the big fish swimming around in the clear water of the dam. The kids loved riding their bikes and did great on the 7 mile loop we took.
Look out for the zombies!
