Our Fourth of July

Our fourth of July was a lot of fun. Brad started out the day with a mountain bike ride in Tahoe then met Owen and I back here where we left for Legends Mall in Sparks. It was a really busy day there that day, they had a live band playing and the sprinklers in the center on where a bunch of kids were playing. We met up with Lottie and her mom-in-law. We hit up several girlie stores including Bath and Body Works where owen found a little green duck friend. And where Brad found a nice little corner to hide out and play on his Iphone. :) After the mall we did some boring stuff like go to Target for things we needed, although we got an Icee machine which we use pretty much daily now, so that was a good thing. Then we headed to Fernley to meet up with Lottie and Jeremy where they showed us the farm his parents have out there.  They have lamas, sheep, goats, cows, chickens, quail and a new litter of puppies. I probably missed something too, but either way they have a lot of animals. Owen liked the puppies even though they were super energetic. He also thought the quail were pretty cool. After dinner with the Brazell family we watched fireworks there at the park. They were awesome! We were so close to them we had to lay on my car so we weren't kinking our necks up to see.  Owen was so excited about the fireworks, he kept saying how fun they were all the way home that night.

Sounds like you guys had a great day. The legends center has some fun stuff. Fireworks with kids are so fun. They are so much more exciting when they are excited.

sounds way fun. Hey, do you think we could take the kids over to the farm when we are up? I bet Cristi's boys would love it just as much as my girls would love it too! Ask Lottie for me!
