We had a fun time camping last weekend with our friends the Flukes, who are sadly moving in a couple of weeks! We went somewhere close so it would make it easier on everyone. The kids had a great time together and of course loved being outdoors and getting dirty. The camp food was amazing, sleeping in a tent at 8 months pregnant-not so amazing. But it was just one night, and when we got back home we got hot showers and baths and had a nice long-nights sleep in our soft beds.

I was hoping to be able to do more outdoor things this summer, but I am seriously done being tough right now and just want to take it easy. This may be our only camp trip of the summer since it was kind of rough for me, and that makes me sad. Chase is at such a good age to camp this year, and Owen of course always loves it. So yay for our Summer camping adventure for the year. haha.
